We’re excited to launch our three weeks of giving as part of the AZ Gives initiative! We have set our goal to raise $10,000 between March 16th and April 6th. That gives us 23 days, 552 hours, 33,120 minutes, or nearly two million seconds to make a contribution and help spread the word!

How will your donations be spent?
Here are some examples of typical Puente expenditures:
- A donation of $35 will pay for a formerly incarcerated community member’s Certificate of Discharge, allowing them to get their rights restored.
- A donation of $50 will purchase a set of garden tools for one volunteer.
- A donation of $250 will purchase a care package for a loved one freed from ICE detention.
In the first three months of 2021 we have launched multiple campaigns including the Al Cien Campaign to Reentry to support formerly incarcerated community members; the Chinga la Polimigra Campaign to end police and ICE collaboration; and the Comply & Release campaign to demand that ADOCRR, ICE and MCSO end medical negligence in jails, prisons, and detention centers. We’ve released two reports on Phoenix Police Department’s Operations Order 4.48 and the department’s ongoing racial profiling (link), and on the human rights abuses occuring inside Arizona’s cages during the COVID-19 pandemic (link). We’re committed to holding the Biden Administration accountable to its broken promises on immigration, and we are pushing for a federal investigation into ADOCRR.
We will never stop fighting for our community. Please donate to support our work today! Help us reach $10,000 in the next 23 days by sharing this email with your family and friends, and sharing our posts on social media.
Your generous gift is an investment to the continuation of our work. Puente is a 501(c)(3) organization; all donations are tax deductible.
